Arizona Defensive Driving School

The Arizona defensive driving school to remove the violation from the driving record of the individual who has been stopped by a police officer in Arizona and given a citation for a moving violation, this is violation is giver if the individual has not provided to attended Defensive Driving School in the past two years, and assuming that no one was killed or seriously injured in the incident that caused the citation to be issued. There are Defensive Driving Schools in every county of Arizona and all the schools that are certified by the State of Arizona,the individuals must attend one of these schools in order to have the ticket ‘erased’.

Basically the Arizona’s Defensive Driving School Program is administered by the Arizona Supreme Court and attending these defensive driving classes is voluntary. If the individual is eligible, on completion of the course, the individual can never receive the ticket and has no points on the license and this result in any increase in insurance rates. When the individual has been issued the traffic citation by the police officer, notes the code for the violation and then the individual needs to attend Defensive Driving School to divert the citation only violation code is listed in that particular defence driving school.

It the individual has a commercial driver license, then he/she is not eligible to attend Defensive Driving School to have diversion of the ticket, even if ordered to take the class by the court. But the individual must be driving in personal and non-commercial vehicle at the time when that particular citation was given.

The total cost to attend Defensive Driving School is the total of three amounts that is the court fee + the Arizona State feeand the defence drive school fee. The individuals must call to fix the appointment with the school as the classes are fixed with prior appointment only and the individuals are required to get registered, at the time of registration it is required that the individuals verify the mode accepted for payment of the course fee as most of the defence driving school in Arizona do not accept credit cards or personal cheques.

Generally the court may order to attend defence drive or the Traffic Survival School if the individuals have received 8 – 12 points on the license within a year and has not been to the defence drive school in the past 2 years  OR if the individual is convicted of aggressive driving, or a moving violation resulting in someone’s serious physical injury or death OR if the individual has received more than 1 moving violation and if the age of the particular individual is under 18 years OR if the individual is convicted of red light running .

The individual may attend an online Internet Defensive Driving School, but the requires to take a test conducted in person, and  after completion of the course to verify that that the training is actually taken place in an online Defensive Driving Classes.

Some of the defensive driving schools offer classes on weekends, evenings, and in Spanish actually people want to attend Defensive Driving School, but they sooner get annoyed about it, so it is better if there is an excellent teacher is as they have the ability to make the class interesting and might actually attract students to it and make the learning process interesting.

To get entry into the class the students require a copy of the citation and the Cashier’s Check or Money Order for cost of class, the driver license, if available the court paperwork.
