Benavides Driving School was founded by late Pedro Benavides who was the sole driving instructor, with one classroom instructor, and one vehicle to teach students in. and now the school is ranked among the most reputed schools in Texas.
Benavides driving school has a motive to work to teach a student to drive and to teach the basic rules of the road. The school works with the student until they accomplished their goal and obtain their license after passing their written test or their driving test, the school helps the students throughout the process and after it too.
Benavides Driving School is family owned and operated school that runs for over 33 years and provides training aimed to make the students safe, responsible and good drivers for tomorrow. The various training programs are Teen Courses, Adult Courses, or Defensive Driving Courses.
The teen’s course at Benavides driving school is designed as per the state requirements and laws for teenager between the ages of 15-17 years old and the school arranges specific amount of hours for this driver education course. The tees course is divided into two phrases firstly the classroom and secondly the driving.
The Phase one of the course is a 32 hours of classroom, 2 hours a day for 16 class meetings. Phase two is a 7 hours of behind the wheel training with one of the professionally trained and patient instructors.The students usually prefer to complete the driving phase of the course for around a week for two weeks after completing the classroom phase. Generally both phases of the course the instructor will teach the student driving lessons from basic fundamentals to driving a car safely following the rules and regulations and then the advance procedures and techniques.
Adult Drivers course at the Benavides driving school is divided into various packages is a 6 classroom hours of 2 hours per day and the second Package is a 8 classroom hours the practical training is 8 hours is the same for both the packages.
The defensive driving course at the school for the is especially designed in such a way that the students are appreciated to participate in class discussions, daily work, projects, guest speakers, testing, watching videos, and hands on training of the required practical training and upon completion of course the student will receive two certificates the first one is to upgrade their permit to a driver’s license and the second one is to attain a 10% insurance discount that’s valid till the age of 21 years.
