Defensive driving school

According to the definition from the National Safety Councils of Defensive Driving the defensive driving school is defined as “driving to save lives, time, and money, in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others”. It is training program for motor vehicle drivers that aim is to reduce the risk of driving by anticipating dangerous situations and goes beyond of the rules of the road and also provides the complete information on basic mechanics of driving.
Courses at the defensive driving school can often be learned both online and in the classroom. There are advantages of both. While taking an online course, the individual can take the classes at the own time and at the comfort of own home. Classroom courses help to take it all at one time and allow you to discuss and ask questions. Both online and Classroom courses last only 6 hours. But many times because of pages loading, it takes closer to eight hours to complete a course and with faster Internet connections the online courses can be completed in fewer hours.The course ware is designed with the facility of log in at any time as per the convenience and the as most of are bored of reading units. There are multiple quizzes at the end of each unit that the student requires to pass before proceeding to the next unit, to facilitate the learning process the course ware are filled with graphics, 3-D animations, videos, and audio clips.Alter completion of the online course the certificates are delivered to the students.
The defensive driving courses were offered beginning 1964 and 1965 by the National Safety Council and the driving program is was launched for several government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private schools with the aim to improve the public’s driving skills some of the defensive driving courses include Coaching the Mature Driver, Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving, Professional Truck Driving, and DDC for Instructors. In addition the government has launched active Air Bag and seat Belt safety campaigns that encourage safety of the citizens.In some instances these courses are referred to as traffic school.
The defensive driving school improves one’s own driving skills, many U.S. states provide an incentive to complete defensive driving course by offering mandated insurance discounts or a way to mask a traffic ticket from one’s driving record. States with the biggest incentives are Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, New Jersey, New York etc.
