Easy Method Driving School is one of the Nation’s oldest and largest driving schools in Washington at the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The driver education course at the Easy Method Driving School consists of two parts:

Classroom based training where there are 30 hours of classroom instruction and the classroom topics include basic driving techniques, defensive driving, rules of the road, alcohol and driving, various driving environments. To pass the classroom driver education course, the student must attend the 30 hours of class training and finish all the modules of the curriculum as well as participate in class activities and then face the classroom based test and make a score a minimum of 80 point in the exam.

The behind-the-wheel training is 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction class In-car and the training is designed to develop the skills that include basic manoeuvres, defensive driving techniques, and road driving in a variety of environments. To pass the behind the wheel part of Driver’s Education the student needs to complete all six hours and pass the performance criteria for each lesson. Once the student has completed both the classroom and the behind the wheel parts, Easy Method Driving School will process and transmit all information to licencing authority of the state and then the licencing formalities and the final driving tests are conducted, after successful completion of the course the students are a licence holder of the state.

Many Motor Vehicle Administration associations recommend the Easy Method Driving School where the students start Driver Education at age 15, progress through the 30 hours of in-class instruction to prepare for the MVA Learner’s Permit Exam and then complete the behind-the-wheel portion of the training after the Learner’s Permit is obtained. It is best to training method as each student has training through both the in-class and behind-the-wheel material.

The speciality of the Easy Method Driving School is the Graduated Licensing Program. This program requires novice drivers to gain more driving experience with a supervising driver and gradually move up through the licensing process until the license status is achieved. To get the driver’s license the student must progress through three licensing levels firstly the Learner’s permit (15 years and 9 months) then the Provisional license (After Driver Education) and lastly the state driver license.
